However, mini-split A/C systems can encounter issues that need to be addressed like any other heating and cooling solution. Some common signs that that your mini-split A/C system is in need of repair are:
In the event that your mini-split is leaking water, you likely are in need of a repair from a professional. This is usually a sign that there is an issue with the drain line, which could be clogged causing a back up, or have a tear causing the leak. An issue could also be present with the drain line if your mini-split A/C system is not draining water.
An obvious sign that your mini-split A/C system needs a repair is if it is not operating properly. Your system may not be operating properly if it is blowing hot air when you are trying to cool your home. An issue like that usually has to do with ice on the coils.
Your mini-split A/C system should run quietly in the background of your home. If it isn’t running quietly, you should have your system inspected by a professional technician from Vance Heating & Air Conditioning. Take special care to notice any popping or gurgling sounds coming from your mini-split A/C system, as those can be signs of something that needs to be addressed quickly.
Any strong and distinct odors coming from your mini-split A/C system is a sign that it should be inspected to locate the cause of the smell and if necessary, a repair be conducted. We started using Vance for our HVAC maintenance when we first moved to Yakima 4 years ago. They were recommended by the Previous homeowners. We have never been disappointed with the Service and Technicians, Cristian was no exception. He arrived on time, put on shoe coverings as soon as he walked in the door. He was here for our 6 month inspection, all went well and he even gave us a suggestion to lower our Propane gas bill. We are happy with Vance's service.. they have recently added Electrical services.. we may have to try them out.
